Stocks to Watch MCP, CROX, MS
Here are some names that range from penny stocks to larger caps. The stocks are listed below:
Hooper Homes (HH:AMEX) We issued an alert to our subscribers on this AMEX penny stock and it was up a little under 4% for the day. Keep in mind that HH was a liquid $10 stock early in the early part of the century. Hooper Holmes was also followed by major brokerage firms, so this may be a true bottom fishing opportunity. Add HH to you penny stock list.
Molycorp (MCP:NYSE) There was some positive news out of the rare earth space today. But was MCP’s rally just another head fake ? Keep in mind that shares of Molycorp were over $65 as recently as this month. If you decide to own this one, it may be best to play small, especially in this market.
Lithium Corp (LTUM:OB) This once hot penny stock has become as dead as a doornail. The volume on LTUM for Monday was barely over 32k, which is a far cry from it’s go-go days. Keep in mind that when lithium penny stock plays get hot, LTUM usually participates, and this stock used to have somewhat of a cult following. Put LTUM on your penny stock watch list.
Crocs (CROX:NASDAQ) We highlighted this specialty shoe maker not too long ago at lower prices based on consolidation in the group. CROX has continued to set new highs and looks incredible on a technical basis. However these high fliers can change on a dime and roll over quickly if market sentiment changes. Use a stop if you play CROX on the long side.
Morgan Stanley (MS:NYSE) There is smart money on both sides of this trade and while European uncertainty weighs on the financials, some feel brokerage related stocks will take less of a hit. Shares of MS do look a little oversold at these levels. However, just to be safe, it may be best to wait for better news flow to buy brokerage names at higher prices with a greater sense of certainty.
