Here are some names for Monday. They range from blue chips to penny stocks and are listed below:
Nanosphere (NSPH:NASDAQ) From time to time we monitor insider buying based on filings. The open market buy on NSPH was tiny ($ 5940), but it was the largest of the week.
PSPW (3Power Energy Group) This hot penny stock was up over 13% on Friday and has been frequently at the top of the IHUB most active message boards.
S&P 500 Trust (SPY:NYSE) Just wanted to highlight the flagship ETF because Schwab reported it’s first monthly outflow of customer funds in 10 years. It’s always good to keep tidbits like this in mind.
New Concept Energy (GBR:AMEX) Very light volume on this low priced name, but it was the highest percentage gainer on the AMEX on Friday. Despite a down market, shares were up 14%.
Yahoo (YHOO:NASDAQ) Just expect this one to be in the news, if it goes much lower the shareholder activists should be getting loud again.
Hop-On (HPPN.PK) This sub penny stock name was not only the most active stock on the pink sheets, but was also up 300% on Friday. Penny stock scalpers might have a field day with this one come Monday morning.
Proctor and Gamble (PG:NYSE) Acted well on Friday and closed green for the day despite the Dow’s decline. PG is also trending on Yahoo Market Pulse right now, so it may be active early in the week with day traders.
IShares Silver Trust (SLV:NYSE) Pullback buyers have been smashed and it’s always hard to catch a falling knife, but bells don’t ring at the bottom. Enough cliches for you ?
Boston Scientific (BSX:NYSE) Has been newsy lately and closed down modestly on Friday, but a mini double top formed on the daily chart.
Netquin Mobile (NQ:NYSE) This recently busted IPO finally rallied a little bit and closed up over 6% on Friday in a down market. The NQ deal trading lower was a surprise to many IPO traders. Most services had it as a premium deal.
