NYSE TRADED WARRANTS Provide Leverage
As we touched on before, NYSE traded warrants or any warrant for that matter, is basically a right to own a certain security at a defined price within a specified time frame. In practical terms many warrants trade like LEAP options. While the theory of using warrants and LEAPS is risky because of the lack of shareholder equity and the risk of worthless expiration, both Warrants and LEAPS do provide leverage without using margin. Some institutions and traders also go long NYSE traded warrants to hedge positions.

How many times have you looked for alternative strategies on a volatile, hot stock, or even one that you wanted to buy and put away, but have been stumped when you searched for information ?
