Large Caps and Canadian Penny Stocks
Today we are going to give you some stocks to watch, and will segway into an occasional Canadian penny stocks idea.
Urbana Corp (URB.CN) We are going to start highlighting some different Canadian penny stocks on a infrequent basis. Some people may confuse Urbana with other Canadian penny stocks. However it’s a closed end mutual fund that happens to own large stakes in the exchanges. This is a cheap way to play the recent takeover frenzy in the space.
Ford Motor (F:NYSE) The stock is up nicely on earnings at the time of this entry. This name should be pretty newsy today with several opinions coming out of the major brokerage firms. However, negative news from Nissan could weigh on the entire auto group.
Oracle (ORCL:CFO) When a CFO resigns it’s usually not a good sign. However, Oracle is a tech titan and this seems like a non event. If this were a small cap or a penny stock, investors would view it differently.
Jammin Java (JAMN.OB) Our subscribers recently received an alert that put them in a poistion to take a nice short term profit. Jammin Java seems to be trying to test the $2 range. This one has been a home run so far and should remain pretty active
IShares Silver Trust (SLV:NYSE) Once again we feel that silver ETF is one to watch, and probably will be for the near future. Remember, silver is not for the risk averse, and other miners and and silver mining penny stocks could see sympathy moves based on the performance of SLV.
Techalt (TECA.PK) This sub penny stock is currently the most active IHUB message boards. We like to point these message board out because even though we aren’t predicting the stock direction, the voulme on these plays are usually substantial.
Netflix (NFLX.NASDAQ) Lower on earnings, today’s action in NFLX could be a day traders dream. This one could be as volatile as a hot penny stock in AM trading. Maybe the shorts are finally right.
